Bone is the important source of human body. It gives shapes and movements. Two bones combined together to form a joint. There are more numbers of joints in human body, which are knee joint, finger joints, elbow joints, shoulder joints, hip joints, etc. There is a protective layer called cartilage in the joints for smooth and painless bend with a lubricant called synovium fluid, which lubricates the joints. Inflammation of synovial fluid occurs when the cartilage wears out of the joint, which generally called osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.
Erosion of cartilage results bone on bone rub, which is the condition for osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis develops slowly because of wear and tear of the bone joints. Erosion of synovium is the main cause for rheumatoid arthritis.
The physicians and the medical analysts are still trying to find the reason of this health problem but yet to succeed. However it is guessed that the damage caused by the immune system to the tissues may lead to arthritis.
Preventive Measure
Daily simple physical exercise is the best preventive and curative measure of arthritis. Physiotherapy exercises, stretches, yogasanas, walking etc., keep away arthritis. These tone up the skeletal and the muscular system and improve the lubrication.
